AMAZONE
Classic Dutch sailing boat. Designed for expeditions in polar regions under all weather conditions
• It was built in 1963. Designed by a well-known Dutch ship builder Olivier van Meer it was supposed to be a sailing vessel for long distance expeditions in polar latitudes. However, Amazone has served for many years as a fishing vessel in the North Sea. In 1993 it was converted into a sailboat and began to carry out regular cruises.
• AMAZONE is an outstanding example of Dutch sailing shipbuilding.
